I am very lucky & privileged to work in clinical hypnosis, helping people achieve their goals and objectives. Every time somebody leaves having achieved their desired goal, I get a big kick and a great deal of Job satisfaction.
I offer a personalised, individual approach. I treat my clients as individuals and I believe in changing my therapy to fit the client. I believe that my qualifications and professional experience allow me to offer an excellent service to all of my clients, and my treatments are tailored using the most up to date techniques that are widely recognised as the most efficient interventions.
I try to make it as easy as possible for people to come and see me and to this end I have offices in Tulketh rd Preston PR2 1ER , Mowbray Drive Blackpool FY3 7UN & Westfield drive Warton PR4 1ED.
Hypnotherapy can be used to treat a range of emotional and psychological problems and a wide range of unhelpful behaviours. Hypnotherapy is an excellent intervention to support people in making positive changes in their lives. I have heard over the years many people saying such things as “why don’t you just do it” or “ its simple enough anybody can do that”. As individuals we are all have our own life experiences and what is easy for one person, is not necessarily so for another.
If you want to make a positive change in your life then hypnotherapy can be an excellent tool in helping you achieve your goals. Please get in touch if you are interested in a consultation or would like a confidential discussion about how I may be able to help you.

Clinical Hypnotherapist Steve Mawdsley
Clinical Hypnotherapy is therapy applied through the medium of Hypnosis. Hypnosis in itself is not a therapy, it is a way of talking directly to that part of your mind that will enable you to make the changes you want to make.
Although hypnotherapy has its own methods and techniques, I have the option to use several different approaches during a therapy session, not just therapies that are used under hypnosis. Some of these techniques are therapies in their own right such as Cognitive behavioural Therapy (CBT) or Neuro Linguistic Programing (NLP).Some of these methods can be used in or out of hypnosis.
Any approaches used are tailored to fit each individuals needs and requirements.
In fact treatment is not always necessarily done under hypnosis some treatments can be used effectively without hypnosis, however I have found that generally, using hypnosis as a vehicle, more often than not provides better, quicker and more effective results.
Because under hypnosis we deal directly with the subconscious part of the mind it is easier to effect change in a positive way.
Most people on many occasions throughout their life make conscious decisions either do something or even stop doing something but find it very difficult to achieve. Hypnotherapy puts your conscious and subconscious mind in tune with each other helping you to achieve your goals.
